The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce (AACC) has entered a partnership with Small Business
Advocates of Central Florida (SBACFL) to operate a bid opportunity preference program to facilitate the participation and success of local minority small businesses within the City of Apopka and surrounding area.

Participating small businesses must be verified certified minority, woman or veteran owned Florida Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) by State of Florida Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD). The bid preference program will also accept Orange County, Florida, City of Orlando and/or Greater Orlando Aviation Authority certifications.

 

The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce’s social innovation bid opportunity preference initiative is driven by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee’s focus on establishing and promoting
opportunities that advance minority owned small businesses.
